Introduction to Incident Widgets

The Incident Widgets section includes tools available on the Incidents page that help users manage and track incidents. These widgets provide quick access to important information such as incident history, attachments, updates, and related records.

They help stakeholders easily monitor incidents and take the necessary actions to resolve them efficiently.

The Incident Widgets section provides a set of interactive components available on the Incidents page that help users manage and monitor incidents more effectively. These widgets present important incident-related information in a structured format, allowing users to quickly access key details and perform relevant actions.

Each widget focuses on a specific aspect of incident management, such as viewing incident history, accessing attachments, tracking activity updates, or reviewing related records. By organizing information into dedicated widgets, the system improves visibility and helps users navigate incident data more efficiently.

Incident Widgets also support collaboration among stakeholders by providing centralized access to updates and resources associated with an incident. This allows users to stay informed about incident progress and contribute to faster resolution.

Incident Widgets support several important capabilities, including:

  • Viewing incident information and status updates
  • Accessing attachments related to the incident
  • Monitoring activity and communication related to the issue
  • Identifying related records or dependencies
  • Supporting collaboration among incident stakeholders

Available Widgets

The following widgets are available within the Incidents page:

  • Attachments - Used to upload and manage files related to the incident.
  • Discussion Topics - Allows users to communicate and discuss details about the incident.
  • Action Items - Used to create and track action itmes required to resolve the incident.
  • Notes - Allows users to add additional information or comments related to the incident.
  • Notify Users - To add another user as an incident stakeholder, use the Notify Users option to send a notification. After the notification is sent, the user will become part of the incident stakeholders.
  • Incident Flags - Allows users to flag an incident to indicate that it requires attention, follow-up, or further review.
  • Reclassify Incident - Used to change the type of an incident to another incident type.
