Introduction to Account Admin

As an Account Administrator, you hold the keys to your organization’s QUASR+ environment. You are responsible for the initial setup, security configuration, and user management that forms the foundation of your patient safety culture.

Core Responsibilities

Your role involves high-level management tasks that differ from daily frontline reporting:

  • Tenant Management: Configuring organization details, facilities, and time zones.
  • System Configuration: Defining Incident Workflows, customizing Incident Forms, and setting up Risk Assessment settings.
  • User Management: Inviting users, assigning roles, and managing access levels.
  • Subscription Management: Handling billing, upgrades, and payment methods.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensuring the right people have the right access to sensitive patient data.

Common

Questions for Evaluators

We understand that you might be the “Champion” exploring QUASR+ for your organization, but you may not be the person who holds the company credit card or makes final procurement decisions.

”I’m just evaluating QUASR+, but I don’t have authority to pay. What should I do?”

You can absolutely start the process!

  1. Sign Up: Create the account using your professional email. You will become the first Account Admin.
  2. Verify & Start Trial: Complete the verification. No credit card or payment details are required to start your free trial.
  3. Invite the Decision Maker: Once the account is active, invite the actual financial/decision-making authority (e.g., CFO, Director of Quality) as a user with Account Admin privileges.
  4. Transfer Responsibility: This person can now manage the subscription and billing details.
  5. Adjust Your Role: Later, the new Account Admin can remove your administrative privileges and assign you a more appropriate role (e.g., Account QM or Facility QM) so you can focus on the operational side of safety.

”Can I have multiple Account Admins?”

Yes. We recommend having at least two Account Admins to ensure redundancy. If one admin leaves the organization or is unavailable, the other can maintain system access.

”What happens if I sign up with my personal email?”

We strongly discourage using personal emails (gmail, yahoo, etc.). Using your official organization email ensures:

  • Easier verification and trust.
  • Seamless future integration with Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Clear data ownership by the organization.
